Another year younger!
Thankful that God has given me a great 32 years and hoping for many more!! Michael planned a date for me while we were back home in Texas last week. It was really sweet! We went to Color Me Mine and painted... MK did a coffee mug for me ;-) and I did a plate. (The pics are pre-fired, so the actual colors will be different). Then we ate some good Italian food at Cafe Italia. We had cake on my actual birthday which the kids thought was the best birthday ever... They really love cake!! :-) Super blessed!

Spider Man and Rapunzel
Adilyn and Trevin love to dress up... Adi always as Rapunzel and Trev as Spider Man. Usually they play super hero saves the princess from (insert various situations here). They have quite the imagination. Today it went a bit different.
Adi crying running after Trevin: It's me, Trevin! It's just me!
Trevin: I don't like princesses!
Adi: It's just me, Trevin. It's Adi!!!! I'm not a princess! Please save me!
She was truly heart broken that her brother would say such things! It was cute and sad. They have such a sweet sweet bond, two peas in a pod. They are 18 months apart, but you wouldn't know it! I love that they have each other to play with all the time. They are the best of friends! :-)

Kristi Jr.
My dad calls Adi "Kristi Jr." and it drives Adilyn crazy! I am not sure why he says that... There is no resemblance at all! ;-) I am on the left and Adilyn is on the right.
Red, White, and Blue!!!
Happy 4th of July!!! We started off our day with the Double Oak parade that runs right by our house. We were very impressed and the kids thought it was awesome! It will be a fun tradition to do every year! The kids got way too much candy. Then we headed to gramma and pawpaw's house to eat and swim with cousins. The kids swam for almost 5 hours! They were worn out to say the least, and so are we! Paxton slept through most of the fun. Maybe we will attempt the fireworks next year?! We are thankful for our God given freedom and all those who serve to help protect our country and freedom!!

Fish, Fish, Fish and a Turtle
There is several ponds in our neighborhood in Oklahoma. We bought the kids some fishing poles and went fishing this morning. They both caught fish, and Adilyn even caught a turtle! It has been so nice to have Michael around this weekend for lots of family time!

We moved!
Oh yes! House number 5 in 5 years! We only thought we were done moving, but God had other plans.
We moved to our "forever" house last November... On over an acre, lots of space and lots of work, but we love it!
Then Michael was asked to manage a job in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After praying about it, he felt like it was an opportunity that he should not miss. Everything in me wanted to say NO, and I might have even said so at first. I had just felt settled from moving into our new house and love the community of friends we are blessed to do life with. I felt comfortable! But God does not call us to be comfortable, and comfort is definitely an idle of mine.
So here we are, living in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma!!! Never would have thought!! We moved 2 weeks ago and are trying to figure our way around this new place! We still have our house in Texas, and both houses are fully furnished. We are able to go back and forth as much as we want, so we are blessed by that! Let the new adventures begin!!
